Local Art Openings This Weekend: A Trifecta

Welcome September! I have a busy week prepping for local art openings this weekend: I am swapping out artwork at Loveland Coffee, going to two opening receptions, and a Small Works Show.

First, thank you to Loveland Coffee for hosting my artwork the past two months. And a big thank you to those who have purchased my artwork there. This week, we will swap out my paintings for Brad's photography. Enjoy some of his autumn colors - and monochromes - as you sip a pumpkin spice latte.

Second, I have TWO Opening Receptions Friday, Sept 8. Two of my paintings have been accepted in A Sense of the Past: Exploring Nostalgia Show at the Windsor Arts and Heritage Center, opening reception is 6-7:30pm. Then I will head to Lincoln Gallery for the Regional Fine Art Show. One of my very favorite paintings has been accepted in this show. Come see it: Opening Reception at Lincoln is 6-9pm. Hope to see you at either show!

Third, the Thompson Valley Art League will have a Small Works Show in the parking lot just outside Lincoln Gallery on Saturday Sept 9, 10am-5pm. This is a special show for ALL TVAL members, and is a great opportunity to collect artworks from local artists. The Small Works show takes place during Pastels on 5th, which is a wonderful fundraiser for Alternatives to Violence. The sidewalks on 5th Street (between Lincoln & Cleveland) will be covered with colorful artwork. Come enjoy the artwork, food trucks and live music. Pssst... if you miss the Opening Reception for the Regional Fine Art Show, pop on into Lincoln Gallery while you are at the Small Works Show during Pastels on 5th :)
