My husband and I are best friends. We've been through a lot together in the last 30 years.
We know how to make each other laugh, and we know what makes each other cry (like saying good-bye to our beloved pets).
Mostly we make each other laugh.
When we were married in 1993, the pastor said we were like "two strings on the same lute, making beautiful music together." Although we were air traffic controllers when we met, we have always been creatives: photography and music for Brad; drawing and painting for me. We are no longer controllers, but we are artists more than ever. I go on photo shoots with Brad and occasionally he lets me paint his face.
And now (drum roll please)... we are excited to announce our first solo show together! During March & April, our artwork will be on display and for sale at Sweetheart Winery.
Please join us at our Opening Reception on March 2, from 5 - 8pm. Brad and I will have many new pieces on display. I will have my easel set up, and we can enjoy a glass together. In addition to great wine, Sweetheart also has some good eats too, like charcuterie and hummus boards.
If you've never been to Sweetheart Winery, you must visit! It's a beautiful venue (great for weddings!) along the Big Thompson River, just west of Loveland. If you drive west on Hwy 34, go past Devil's Backbone. There's a valley on the left... that's the winery!
Brad and I look forward to seeing you!
Can’t wait!!!!!
