Hey there! I hope you are having a wonderful autumn. The leaves on my street are beginning to turn. Soon, our neighborhood will explode in color. I am so grateful for the landscape artists who selected our trees and shrubs at High Plains Village. Every year it becomes a work of autumnal art.
Autumn colors are a bit late this year, so I am hoping that means they will be perfect on the weekend of the Loveland Art Studio Tour, October 8-9. This will be my 4th year on the Studio Tour. I am looking forward to seeing you at my home studio: 1892 Piney River Drive.
I can't wait to share with you my latest works, as I explore new mediums and styles in portraiture, and florals too. I have had a great year painting several commissions of loved ones. This year I have added furry loved ones to my repertoire. I will have print samples of recent commissions for you to see.
One thing I love most about the Loveland Art Studio Tour is sharing my passion. Many visitors during the tour are also artists, or future artists, art collectors, and everything in between. I invite you to come, make yourself at home, and let's talk art!
Let's also talk jewelry and music! Christine James will be joining me again in my home studio. She has a beautiful new line of jewelry, plus she has developed a 'make & take' necklace, just for you, made by you, during the tour.
This year, two other High Plains Village artists join the tour. They are only a block away from my studio, so it will be easy to visit all four of us!
One very important thing to remember: Our studios will only be open during the first weekend of the tour. OCTOBER 8-9, 11am-5pm. SEE YOU SOON!
